2017 was a successful year for the Hunger Project Switzerland. The proceeds of CHF 639,367 were used to contribute to the microfinance programme in Burkina Faso, the further development of the microfinance programme in Ghana, the Epicenter Chokwe in Mozambique and the programme to strengthen the position of local councillors in Rajasthan (India) to overcome hunger and poverty.
Once more, with their great commitment, the investors have contributed to help overcome chronic hunger and extreme poverty.

"For me, the Hunger Project means a continuous opportunity to feel and express the solidarity and partnership with the people who live in extreme poverty in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Over the years, huge potential has been released in me and my partners in the affected countries – resulting in sustainable improvements in the quality of life for all."
